چکیده
Polyatomic anion insertion electrodes present compositional and morphological variety, as well the ability to tune operational voltages by influencing nature of metal-oxygen bonding. Realising application these compounds in Li- Na-ion batteries requires a detailed understanding ion dynamics systems. Here is presented microscopic Li-ion diffusion properties LiFeSO4F Na2FePO4F, respectively, using muon spin relaxation (μ+SR) spectroscopy for first time. processes tavorite phase are found proceed with an activation energy (Ea) 48 meV coefficient 1.71×10-9 cm2 s-1, while mobility Na2FePO4F has calculated 3.60×10 10 s 1 higher barrier at 102 meV. This such examination fluoride-containing polyatomic cathodes μ+SR, where presence highly electronegative fluoride species was thought preclude determination due strong μ+-F interactions. These insights open up possibility studying myriad electrode materials μ+SR technique.

Anion-redox nanolithia cathodes for Li-ion batteries
The development of lithium–air batteries is plagued by a high potential gap (>1.2V) between charge and discharge, and poor cyclability due to the drastic phase change of O2 (gas) and O (condensed phase) at the cathode during battery operations. Here we report a cathode consisting of nanoscale amorphous lithia (nanolithia) confined in a cobalt oxide, enabling charge/discharge between solid Li2O/...

The experimental methods used to characterize molecular anions differ substantially depending on the stability of the species. The application of laser spectroscopic methods, discussed elsewhere in this issue, is generally limited to anions possessing hound electronic ground states or to those with lifetimes against autodetachment of the electron in excess of a few microseconds. For a great man...

متن کاملFluoride ion release from ultraviolet light-cured sealants containing sodium fluoride.
The ability of uv light-cured fissure sealants to release fluoride ion from different concentrations of sodium fluoride (NaF), over a 3-week period was studied. Two hundred samples of sealant were prepared in which 1 group contained no fluoride (control) and 4 others contained NaF at 0.05, 0.2, 0.5, and 2% concentrations, respectively. The fluoride ion released by each sample after 1 day, 3 day...
متن کامل8 Muon spectroscopy
The elusiveness of reactive free radicals poses great challenges for their investigation per se in most processes in which they have an intermediary role; this is true particularly in heterogeneous media. There are, however, methods available for the detection of radicals with enormous sensitivity and specificity which are given the collective acronym mSR (MuSR). All the MuSR methods rely upon ...
